SUPPORTING HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES
Acorns & Arrows is located in
Arroyo Grande, California
Acorns & Arrows is a homeschool support program offering in-person classes to students on the Central Coast of California. Our program runs from September through May and is open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm.
Students meet in grade level classes, and each class is guided by one of our dedicated instructors, who each have experience with homeschooling and classroom instruction. We offer high-quality curriculum and a suggested Weekly Learning Guide for use during program and at home. Our instructors love to come alongside parents to help provide the best educational experience for the student.

Dedicated
Instructors
Our dedicated team of instructors are passionate about teaching and committed to making learning fun and engaging. With a collaborative, hands-on approach, they encourage creativity, critical thinking, and team work. Our instructors are committed to excellence and partner with parents to build a strong educational foundation.

Engaging
Curriculum
We teach the four core subject areas of math, language arts, science, and social studies through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Our standards-based curriculum is designed to complement what you are doing at home and bring learning to life. Each week, a “Weekly Learning Guide” with suggested curriculum and pacing is provided to support you in your at-home learning.

Supportive
Community
We value friendship, community, and creating a supportive network to do life with. In addition to program days, we offer Friday activities such as field trips, park days, and community service opportunities. Once a month, we gather for Coffee & Connection – a time of encouragement and learning for the homeschooling parent.
Acorns & Arrows High School Program
Arroyo Grande Campus
Our high school program consists of two courses: English and a Social Science course (U.S. History, World History, or Government/Economics). Both courses meet the a-g requirements for Heartland Charter School students. Students meet in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an engaging and collaborative learning experience. Our approach not only encourages independent learning but also promotes rich discussion, writing competence, and essential collaborative skills, empowering students to excel as critical thinkers in both individual and group settings. Give your child the gift of an enriching and fulfilling educational experience with our high school program!
